Encaustic is this incredibly beautiful ancient medium that dates as far back as the 5th century B.C.. The term "encaustic" comes from the Greek word "enkaustikos," which means, "burning in." The combination of beeswax and damar resin mixed with pigments and various other mediums that is fused with heat onto a substrate.

All images are taken with Leica Q2 and Fuji GFX medium format cameras.

Fine art prints on Hahnemühle cotton rag paper | These prints are made using the giclée process of printing on this amazing Hahnemühle paper that has thiswatercolor paper feel and look. There is a texture to the paper that is just yummy. These prints are made using the best printing presses with archival inks and museum grade archival rag paper with a 1/2 to a 1 inch border (depending on size). Prints are signed, numbered and include a certificate of authenticity. SOME CROPPING OF IMAGES WILL OCCUR ON CERTAIN DIMENSIONED PRINTS. All cropping of image in certain dimensions will be with the greatest care and with the artist’s eye.

Fine art prints are mailed either flat or rolled (not flat) depending on size and require professional framing and handling.

Shipping is priced and charged separately from the art purchase due to many factors such as location, specific/custom shipping containers for pieces depending on the size, final destination and shipping speed.

Hand-delivery will be made if a shipping destination is in a nearby radius to the studio.

Shipping the art takes anywhere from 3-4 weeks from order placement. Fine art prints and fine art metals are meticulously inspected after being printed and encaustic works are carefully wrapped and most require custom shipping boxes depending on the shipping destination.

Most of the encaustic pieces come framed in open float frames and all are ready to hang. The studio is happy to help with inspiration or custom framing options.

A care card will be included in the art package. If any questions arise for care, please contact the studio.

All sales are final, except in the case of damage during shipping (proof of damage from shipping must be shown).

Please carefully inspect your order when it arrives and let the studio know immediately if there has been any damage in shipping. If your artwork is damaged or lost in the mail, please do not hesitate to contact the studio so we can remedy the situation.
